IVF doesn't end when you leave the clinic.

Approximately one in every six people of reproductive age worldwide experience infertility in their lifetime.

Treatment is only part of what someone going through fertility care has to carry.

The treatment may happen in a clinic.
But the patient carries everything around it.

That is the problem VairefundHQ was built around.

The story, piece by piece

What fertility treatment asks people to carry.

01

$15K+

When the cost becomes the decision

A single IVF cycle in the United States costs around $15,000 on average. For some patients, the question becomes not whether they want to continue, but whether they can afford to.

02

40%

The price you were given isn't always the price you pay

Among private fertility patients in the HFEA's 2024 UK patient survey who received a personalized cost breakdown, 40% reported ultimately paying more than originally presented.

The work nobody puts on the bill

Searching. Calling. Comparing. Applying. Following up. Remembering. None of it appears on the clinic invoice. The patient still carries it in time, attention and energy.

Why we built VairefundHQ

The clinic, insurer, employer, pharmacy and funding organization each hold a different part of the journey. The person going through treatment is expected to connect all of it.

70%

Sometimes money decides whether treatment continues.

A 2015 U.S. survey of 213 female fertility patients cited by ASRM found that 70% of surveyed women who underwent IVF went into debt. Nearly 34% reported stopping treatment because they could no longer afford it.

These figures describe that specific U.S. survey population, not every IVF patient.

Why VairefundHQ

We thought something should exist for her.

Not another place to search through information. A place that helps turn information into progress.

Bring the bill you don't understand.Find ways to pay for treatment.Work through an insurance problem.Prepare an application.Keep important documents together.Come back after an appointment and continue from where you stopped.
Because the patient already has enough to carry.

The art

Why there is a mother and child everywhere you look.

Nothing you see here is accidental.

The woman represents us. The child represents the person whose journey has been placed in our care.

Look at their faces. They're close. That closeness is the point.

We want to hold the journeys people bring to us closely and attentively, with an understanding that there is a human being behind every bill, application, document and decision.

We didn't design VairefundHQ around what fertility treatment looks like. We designed it around what someone is going through it for.

The environment

Difficult experiences deserve thoughtful environments.

Someone going through IVF already sees enough clinics, needles, medication, laboratories, forms, portals and invoices. She already knows she is undergoing treatment.

So instead, she encounters warmth. Art. A mother holding a child. A space that has clearly been considered.

Before someone has clicked a button, we want the space itself to communicate: someone thought about what it might feel like to be here.

Privacy

Your journey is personal.

Treatment information. Financial information. Documents. Conversations. Decisions. Plans for a family. These are not ordinary pieces of data.

We believe technology should have a reason to access something this personal, and the person whose journey it is should remain in control of the decisions that belong to them.
